Application Process
Applications will be reviewed in the order of date received. The California Department of Education, Child Development Division, and WestEd do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation, age, or sexual orientation.
Confirmation
Applicants will receive a confirmation within two weeks of the application. Applicants will be called if there are questions about the application or if there is no longer space available. Once accepted, the applicant will be
notified and given directions on how to enroll and pay the registration fee.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND REGISTRATION FEE UNTIL NOTIFIED OF ACCEPTANCE.

For reference, fee amounts and payment options are listed below. Again, enrollment and the registration fee will only be taken once the applicant has been accepted.

When notified of acceptance to the Follow–Up Academy, the applicant will be given directions on how to enroll online.
Fellowships (a $300 value) are available to a limited number of Southern California residents who are previously attended the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) Academy for Program Directors and who agree to complete the entire 2–day follow–up training. The fellowship covers tuition, materials, lodging on December 2nd (double occupancy) and meals. Single rooms are available for an additional fee of $45 per night for the night of December 2nd. Additional nights are $90 for a single room.
Fellowship recipients are responsible for a $75 registration fee, travel costs to and from the Follow–Up Academy, and incidental expenses, including hotel parking.
