Americans with Disabilities Act 20th Anniversary
On July 26, 1990, President George H. Bush signed into law the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure the civil rights of people with disabilities. This legislation established a clear and comprehensive national mandate for the elimination of discrimination against individuals with disabilities. All across America organizations and individuals are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ADA. Below are descriptions of a few of these celebrations.
